Sunday School
The Sunday School Department is an arm of the church under the Directorate of Christian Education.
This department offers intentional discipleship, through teaching the Word of God to equip members to understand the mind of God, to do His will, to remain steadfast within His will, and to inspire / disciple others within their family units, local communities and the next generations to be heavenly conscious.
II Timothy 3:16 states that “All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching the truth, rebuking errors, correcting faults, and giving instruction for right living”.
The Sunday School manual offers the opportunity to dissect topics that are pertinent to our Christian journey. The style of teaching is mostly interactive which offers opportunities for expression of individual points of view, questions, and clarification on controversial issues.
Additionally, the Sunday School teachers meet to prayerfully conduct previews of lessons before teaching to ensure adequate preparation. Regular attendance and participation hope to foster individual spiritual growth, Holy living, and a closer walk with God.
